Originally known as the Animal Emergency Clinic, the hospital was founded in 1991 by a group of local veterinarians who understood the need for after hours and weekend emergency care. In 2005, the practice became privately owned and The Veterinary Emergency Center was born, keeping it's doors open 24/7 and 365 days a year.

As the only Level II VECCS certified facility in NH, our Emergency veterinarians and emergency technicians are highly trained in all aspects emergency medicine. From critical care to emergency surgery, they are passionate about patient care and client communication.
IN HOUSE DIAGNOSTICS
During an emergency, you don't want to wait for test results. We have a full in house lab to run diagnostics on your pet, digital radiology and access to abdominal ultrasounds performed by veterinary Internal Medicine specialists for in-hospital patients.
